Free Flowing Health – Client Policies
Our Commitment
At Free Flowing Health, our goal is to create a seamless, elevated in-home culinary experience from start to finish. These policies are designed to ensure clarity, consistency, and the highest level of service.
Quick Overview

All services are non-refundable — please inquire prior to booking

Personal chef services require a minimum 4-week commitment

All services are paid in advance unless otherwise agreed

Grocery and supply costs are separate and reimbursed same day (or final session for multi-day services)

Menus are sent 24–48 hours prior and require confirmation at least 24 hours in advance

Services may be provided by Lisa Brown or a carefully vetted chef from the Free Flowing Health culinary team

All chefs are fully insured and operate under Free Flowing Health standards and protocols
-
All client relationships, chef placements, communication, and payments are managed exclusively through Free Flowing Health
-
Busy Season (November 1 – May 1): Non-refundable retainer required; rates may increase
-
Rescheduling is permitted with advance notice; limited for ongoing weekly services
Our Culinary Team
Services may be fulfilled by Lisa Brown or a carefully vetted chef operating under Free Flowing Health standards.

All chefs are experienced professionals selected for quality, reliability, and discretion

All scheduling, communication, and billing are coordinated exclusively through Free Flowing Health

All chefs maintain liability insurance and follow professional food safety and handling standards
Our Promise to You
On your scheduled cook date, event, or retreat, your chef will:

Arrive within the agreed-upon service window
-
Sanitize the kitchen before and after service
-
Prepare meals with care, precision, and attention to detail
-
Clean all equipment, tools, and surfaces used
-
Respect your home, privacy, and personal property
-
Package and label prepared meals with reheating instructions
-
Maintain full confidentiality of all client information
Client Services & Onboarding
Prior to beginning services:

A client questionnaire and consultation will be completed to review preferences, dietary needs, and allergies

All pantry resets will be performed by Chef Lisa
-
All communication should be maintained in writing (text or email) for clarity
-
A formal service agreement may be provided prior to the start of services
Booking & Service Structure
-
Personal chef services are reserved in minimum 4-week (monthly) commitments, paid upfront
-
A consistent weekly day and time is reserved in advance
-
Ongoing service may continue based on availability
-
Events and retreats require:
-
50% non-refundable deposit to secure date
-
Remaining balance due 30 days prior (unless otherwise agreed)
-

Travel outside the standard service area may incur an additional fee
-
All service payments are due in advance unless otherwise agreed
-
Accepted payment methods include Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App. Cash or check may be accepted in select circumstances
Menus & Service Details
-
Weekly meal prep menus are sent 48–72 hours prior to your scheduled service; confirmation is required at least 24 hours in advance
-
Event and retreat menus are finalized in advance based on the agreed timeline and may be adjusted as needed based on ingredient availability and seasonal sourcing

Menu adjustments or guest count changes for private dinner parties or events within 48 hours may incur additional fees
-
Each service includes a defined scope of menu items
-
Additional requests may be accommodated at an additional cost
-
For events, menus are subject to ingredient availability, with priority given to seasonal, organic, and high-quality ingredients
Groceries & Supplies

Grocery and supply costs are separate from service fees
-
If groceries are purchased using a non-client payment method:

Reimbursement is due immediately following each cook session
-
For multiple sessions in a week, reimbursement is due after the final session
-

Any remaining ingredients will be left at the home unless otherwise requested
-
Storage containers may be provided and added to your total; clients are encouraged to retain containers for reuse
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that unexpected situations may arise:

In such cases, every effort will be made to reschedule the session based on availability
Rescheduling with advance notice:
-
Rescheduling is permitted when reasonable advance notice is provided (such as travel plans or schedule changes)
For weekly clients:
-
One rescheduled or missed session is permitted every 3 months
-
Additional changes may be accommodated at the discretion of Free Flowing Health
-
Grocery costs must still be reimbursed if already purchased
Kitchen Readiness & Service Environment
To ensure a smooth and efficient service:

Kitchen must be clean, organized, and fully accessible
-
Dishwasher should be emptied and dishes put away
-
Adequate prep space must be available
For best results:
-
Chefs work most efficiently in a focused, uninterrupted environment
-
Friendly interaction is always welcome, though minimizing prolonged conversation during active preparation is appreciated
If the kitchen is not ready:

An additional fee may apply or service may be adjusted
If the home is inaccessible or unsafe:
-
Service may be canceled
-
Payment remains non-refundable

Grocery costs still apply
Service Timing

Arrival times are scheduled within a reasonable service window and may vary slightly due to prior services or travel conditions
Safety & Liability

Clients are responsible for maintaining a safe working environment
-
Free Flowing Health is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during service
-
Normal wear and tear of kitchen equipment may occur
Food & Allergies

Clients must communicate all allergies and dietary restrictions
-
Clients are responsible for informing guests
Chef Network Policy
To ensure a consistent, high-level experience, all chef services must be coordinated exclusively through Free Flowing Health.
Additional Policies
Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable
-
Valid only for the individual listed at the time of purchase

Expire 6 months from the date of purchase
Disclaimer
Free Flowing Health and its culinary team are not responsible for manufacturer defects or product recalls related to ingredients or equipment.
Clients are responsible for informing guests of any allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions.
Free Flowing Health is not liable for:

Injuries or illness that may occur during or after service

Food-related sensitivities or allergic reactions
-
Normal wear and tear to kitchen equipment during standard use
Routine use of cookware, flatware, and kitchen tools may result in minor wear, including scratches or signs of use over time.
Agreement
By booking services, clients acknowledge and agree to these policies.
A formal service agreement may be provided prior to the start of services.
